The Biden For President campaign is looking for a talented and exceptionally organized creative to join the President’s video team, with a focus on overseeing daily production and post-production for the video department. The role will report to the Deputy Director of Video and will be responsible for helping manage video production and coordinating post-production– scheduling and assigning projects across production and editorial teams, and overseeing them to deliver digital assets on schedule and on budget. This candidate must have an excellent grasp on process, budgeting and organization and be able to guide numerous deliverables to completion amid shifting production and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

    • Track numerous assets through production and post workflow processes to meet strict concurrent deadlines
    • Work with freelancers and external vendors to communicate logistics and deliverables of video shoots
    • Help manage media and provide technical assistance for editorial teams
    • Maintain scripts, grids, contacts, and other documentation for all productions
    • Help in processing, uploading, and distributing footage from shoots and events
    • Some travel required
    • Other duties as needed

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • 4+ years hands-on production experience in film, TV, and/or digital video production
    • Proven skill at planning and executing shoots.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong production management background
    • Ability to handle multiple projects under changing deadlines
    • Familiarity with project management, team scheduling/communications  and remote production software 
    • Experience with non-linear editing systems and the post-production process. 
    • A passion for politics and enthusiasm about working to reelect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris 
    • Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE
$65,000 - $85,000 a year
