The Biden For President campaign is looking for a driven, strategic, and creative individual to join Biden for President (BFP) as a Video Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of producers and editors focused on creating video that supports our grassroots fundraising efforts across digital and social platforms, as well as hands-on leadership on a portion of our video production work. The ideal candidate for this role will have deep experience in the creation, production, and optimization of data-driven direct response video for political grassroots fundraising. This position reports to the Director of Video and is full-time in Wilmington, DE
Key Responsibilities
- Concept and produce performance media ads to distribute across digital and social that inspire donors and voters to take action.
- Work closely with research, email and fundraising teams to make optimizations to ensure we’re hitting fundraising goals
- Experiment with how to best reach and mobilize our supporters online and tell a story that is coherent and integrated via video.
- Collaborate with our grassroots fundraising team to execute ad programs.
- Work under tight deadlines to create highly effective videos
- Set best practices and manage other producers’ assignments and work
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years experience as a seasoned video producer working in direct response, performance media and grassroots fundraising for digital and social channels, preferably on an electoral campaign, at an advocacy organization, or a non-profit organization.
- Experience managing focused teams of producers
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to turn around work quickly
- Analytical thinker who has experience making data-informed decisions on a daily basis.
- Flexible and adaptive – rapid response situations don’t phase you.
- Strong understanding of the digital fundraising landscape, best practices, benchmarks for success and emerging digital trends.
- Willing to relocate to Wilmington, DE
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
