The Biden For President campaign is looking for a talented, driven, detail-oriented individual to join its video team focused on capturing road videography and documentary-style storytelling and ensure that video shoots on location are as effective and efficient as possible. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in video production, a passion for politics, and the ability to successfully collaborate in high-pressure environments. The position is full-time and based in Wilmington, DE, with significant travel.

Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate video coverage
    • Coordinate original video shoots on location
    • Lead production calls, write internal memos, and maintain a production calendar.
    • Oversee freelancers and manage relationships with vendors.
    • Help coordinate travel
    • Help organize video equipment packages and manage equipment rentals
    • Be the main liaison between the creative team and documentary subjects, locations and other key contacts

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • 1-3+ years experience assisting on documentary-style films, shorts, and/or promos
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience setting up organizational systems and processes.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Basic knowledge of video equipment.
    • Skilled at quickly establishing strong relationships with collaborators. 
    • Experience communicating with stakeholders in a variety of ways, including email, chat, calls, memos, docs, spreadsheets, and in-person.
    • Experience using project management software is a plus.

$50,000 - $60,000 a year
