The Operations Manager will help drive strategic planning and cross-team collaboration across all of the campaign’s departments. This role will also provide organizational, project management, and administrative support for the Operations team’s short and long term goals. The position will report to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

    • Support the management of work streams and timely and effective completion of projects
    • Write and produce reports, decks, memos, and communications for the COO and Deputy COO
    • Provide administrative and project management support to the Operations Team
    • Coordinate with other similar roles, Chiefs of Staff, and department leadership across the campaign to ensure appropriate resourcing, coordination, and communication on cross-team work
    • Manage processes for reporting out on short- and long-term projects to organizational leadership and key external stakeholders
    • Organize, optimize, and facilitate team meetings as needed 
    • Participate in meetings, take notes, and support completion of action items
    • Review and approve invoices, reimbursements, and purchase requests 
    • Other duties as assigned, including internal/external event support, scheduling, research, document review and editing, and information management
    • Oversee additional projects at the discretion of the Deputy COO and other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of work experience in a professional environment, with experience in political campaigns and/or operations
    • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications skills; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
    • Excellent data management skills; Google Suite experience, including proven ability to create functions and reports
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
    • Ability to handle projects with the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality
    • A team player that recognizes the importance of working collaboratively
    • Ability to work well under pressure with humor and grace
$65,000 - $85,000 a year
