The Biden For President campaign is looking for a talented creative to join its video team, with a focus on creating video utilizing motion graphics, animation and data visualization for all digital platforms. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in graphic design, motion graphics and animation, and a passion for politics. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in an ever-changing environment. This position is full-time and based in Wilmington, DE.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept and produce motion design, animation and data visualization projects for the campaign to break down complex issues and campaign pillars for messaging to inspire voters to take action
- Work under tight deadlines to create highly shareable and memorable videos
- Analyze video performance to ensure videos have maximum potential reach
- Collaborate with design and video teams to create compelling standalone motion graphics videos as well as contributing graphic and animation work to all video productions
- Communicate across departments to ensure that videos accomplish collective goals
- Guide videos through the internal approvals process
- Analyze video performance and use data to ensure that videos have the potential to reach millions of people
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ producing motion graphics and animation work for video for digital and social platforms
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to turn around work quickly on multiple projects
- Detailed knowledge of motion graphics techniques and software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team or crew
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of what works on various social platforms
- Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE
$90,000 - $100,000 a year
