Overview:

The Biden For President Campaign is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to support the deployment and maintenance of IT tools on the Campaign through direct support interactions with campaign staff and volunteers. This person will be part of the IT team and will often act as the first responder for issues and requests inbound to the team.

The Helpdesk Technician will work collaboratively with other members of the IT and Security teams, along with individuals from many other campaign departments. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.

Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the first point of contact with HQ Staff & Volunteers who need technical assistance.
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.
    • Maintain documentation and guides on key processes, such as the installation of software, configuration of hardware and common issues.
    • Assist in the onboarding of new staff and volunteers, by configuring, issuing and/or provisioning necessary hardware, accounts, and services.
    • Maintain and support our HQ infrastructure; network, video conference room equipment, printers, etc.
    • Provide feedback on IT processes and make recommendations on areas to improve.
    • Collaborate with IT & Security Engineers on building, supporting the rollout and ongoing maintenance of new tooling.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience maintaining and supporting Google Workspace and Slack.
    • Experience in Mac device deployment, support, and patching with JAMF.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Customer-oriented and patient.
$60,000 - $70,000 a year
