About the Opportunity:
An IT Infra Senior Infrastructure Engineer is a highly skilled professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure of an organization's Product environment via IT Service Management team. This role involves managing and optimizing IT systems, networks, servers, storage solutions, and cloud environments to ensure business operations are supported effectively, securely, and reliably. In addition, the role encompasses project management responsibilities to lead infrastructure initiatives and ensure successful Infra operations.
Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Design & Management: Plan, design, and implement scalable IT solutions, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and disaster recovery, using tools like VMware, AWS, and Cloudflare.
- System & Network Administration: Manage and maintain Linux and Windows systems, optimize network performance with tools like Grafana, and ensure secure data flow with firewalls, switches, and F5 load balancers.
- Cloud Optimization & Monitoring: Oversee AWS and Google Cloud environments for cost-effective performance, implement monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and analyze logs with ELK Stack and OpenSearch.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and document processes using Jira and Confluence while ensuring best practices.
- Automation & Project Management: Lead IT projects, automate tasks with Ansible and Terraform, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for efficient and reliable infrastructure delivery.
Requirement:
- Educational Background & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with over 6 years of experience in IT operations, support, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including VMware, AWS CloudFront, firewalls, F5 load balancers, networking protocols, and Linux system administration.
- Cloud & Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and AWS OpenSearch for performance optimization, monitoring, and log analysis.
- Automation & Virtualization: Proficiency in VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, and tools like Ansible and Terraform for automation and system management.
- Project Management & Collaboration: Skilled in leading IT projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies, with expertise in Jira, Confluence, and GitLab for task management and team collaboration.
Nice to Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- CCNA certification is preferred.
- Experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.
