About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Product Manager to own compliance-critical features across KYC, KYB, AML/Transaction Monitoring, sanctions screening, and fraud/risk controls. You’ll translate regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities that protect users, reduce compliance risk, and unlock growth across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
- Own the compliance product roadmap covering KYC, KYB, AML/Transaction Monitoring, sanctions screening, and fraud prevention features.
- Translate regulatory requirements into product solutions by collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and Engineering teams to ensure adherence to global crypto regulations.
- Design and optimize onboarding and monitoring flows to improve pass rates, reduce manual review, and maintain strong risk controls.
- Manage third-party vendor integrations for identity verification, blockchain analytics, and AML screening; evaluate and optimize vendor performance.
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to track verification performance, false positive rates, transaction monitoring effectiveness, and regulatory audit readiness.
Requirement
- 5+ years in Product Management, with 2+ years building compliance, risk, or identity products—preferably at a CEX/fintech/payments company.
- Launched KYC/KYB flows at scale (document/biometric verification, liveness, proof of address, business verification, UBO).
- Implemented AML transaction monitoring (rules tuning, scenarios, alert triage, case mgmt, SAR/STR workflows) and Travel Rule solutions.
- Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate across teams and translate user needs into actionable product solutions.
Nice to Haves
- Hands-on with at least two providers from each category: identity (Sumsub/Onfido/Persona/Veriff/Jumio), AML (ComplyAdvantage/Elliptic/TRM/Chainalysis), fraud (SHIELD/Sift).
- Familiarity with privacy/security standards (GDPR, data residency, access controls, encryption).
