About the Opportunity:
As a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure operations. This role emphasizes infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and cloud-native operational excellence within AWS, requiring strong technical expertise to support and optimize cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and automated AWS infrastructure.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.
- Build and manage monitoring and observability stacks (e.g., CloudWatch, EFK, Prometheus).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps.
- Implement cloud governance practices, including backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with application and platform teams to support cloud adoption and ensure reliability.
- Participate in system incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation for architecture, operations, and automation workflows.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong experience with containerization and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows (e.g., GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as EFK (Elasticsearch, FluentBit, Kibana), Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security principles.
- Hands-on scripting or development experience (e.g., Python, Bash, or Node.js).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for automation.
Nice to Haves:
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, SAA, SAP).
- Experience in multi-account AWS environments and Landing Zone setup.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost analysis tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth).
- Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio) and advanced k8s workloads.
