The opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join a high-performing marketing team who values events and experiences as a critical part of Blues’ growth strategy. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, you will own the international events calendar, and be responsible for staging world-class in-person and virtual events of all sizes that bring the brand to life and generate sales leads for the business.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Building Blues’ annual event calendar, based on industries of strategic importance, in collaboration with key leaders across the business.
- Collaborating with the whole marketing team on how to position the Blues brand at events targeting those key industries.
- All aspects of event execution for global and domestic tradeshows and conferences of all sizes and virtual events, including summits and webinars.
- Conceptualizing and staging exclusive in-person and virtual events hosted by Blues for key enterprise business accounts and the developer community.
- Event management for the Blues Partner Program.
- Organizing product launch events in collaboration with the Director of Product Marketing.
- Scoping and organizing brand and advertising shoots with the Creative and Content Marketing Teams.
- Brainstorming custom swag drops for prospective customers and key accounts, developers, and influencers.
- Staging events related to “IoT for Good” initiatives.
Minimum requirements:
- 5+ years of events, brand or partnership management or similar experience.
- Experience in the cellular IoT industry is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and stage virtual and in-person events that tell a brand story and capture sales leads.
- Experience working with sales, creative, growth marketing, content marketing, social media and public relations teams to help them deliver on their event goals.
- Successful track-record of initiating and maintaining relationships within a business, industry, and across the associated events and conference industry.
- Excellent project management and communication skills are a must.
- Proven ability to work successfully in a high-performing team.
Other important information:
- This role is remote, with some travel needed occasionally for premier events.
- This is a full-time role
