Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director

We are looking for someone who is great at thinking strategically/analytically and who will enable and improve financial decisions across the company. Our Financial Planning & Analysis Director will play an integral role in ensuring our day-to-day financial health while managing the day to day bookkeeping of the business.

This is a critical role that will drive decision making within the company's overall business plan and forecasting process while reporting directly to the CEO.

This includes but is not limited to; leading financial planning and reporting for live shows, merchandise, media/content costs, and day to day operations.

Responsibilities

    • Management/financial accounting
    • Financial planning and analysis
    • Maintain the Company's QuickBooks accounting system, general ledger, chart of accounts, and financial reports
    • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
    • Data entry for 100+ shows (ticket sales, expenses, etc)
    • Tax
    • Partnership w/ CEO on accounting areas of new deals and capital expenditures
    • Mine data from our sales databases and use it to predict short-term and long-term trends for making strategic business decisions
    • Develop KPI frameworks to track team-specific and company-wide performance
    • Conduct internal analysis on performance of the company’s different products and business units
    • Create presentations that clearly articulate findings and next steps and communicate those findings to key stakeholders across the company

Minimum Qualifications

    • 5 years or higher in finance (ideally entertainment related but not mandatory)
    • Bachelor’s degree required, CPA and/or MBA preferred
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel
    • Must possess excellent analytical, complex financial modeling, and presentation skills with the ability to analyze raw data and draw conclusions
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional business partners and communicate effectively in meetings
