Colors Worldwide, a genre amplification company specializing in live shows across the country, is seeking a skilled and experienced LED Video Wall Technician to join our team. As a crucial member of our production crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our LED video wall during our shows.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain the LED video wall panels to ensure optimal functionality before each show.
- Coordinate with the VJ to integrate and play content on the video wall using Resolume software.
- Assist in the staging and building of the LED video wall, ensuring it is structurally sound and visually appealing.
- Verify and manage all connections, including data and power cables, to ensure secure and reliable operation of the video wall.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely setup and teardown of the video wall equipment between shows.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the video wall panels, addressing any technical issues that may arise.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in LED video wall technology, suggesting improvements and upgrades as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as an LED Video Wall Technician, preferably in a live production environment.
- Proficiency in using Resolume software for scaling and managing video wall content.
- Strong knowledge of LED video wall technology, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Familiarity with staging and building LED video walls, ensuring proper installation and alignment.
- Ability to handle and manage data and power connections for the video wall effectively.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in resolving technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members.
- Flexibility to work during unconventional hours and travel as required for shows and events.
