The Opportunity (Onsite - Shenzhen, Guangdong, China)
As the Director of Operations, China, you will spearhead the launch and development of our operations function in one of the most dynamic markets. You’ll be the driving force behind ensuring that our internal processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our global standards, all while adapting to local requirements. You will have the opportunity to build a team from the ground up, working closely with global teams to shape strategies and processes that support business growth and operational excellence. - Process Development: Establish and refine core processes from scratch, focusing on streamlining operations to support scalable growth and efficiency as the business expands.
- Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with local Chinese regulations, adjusting processes to align with legal requirements and safeguard business continuity.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with global and local teams to align strategies and processes, ensuring effective integration and communication across all functions.
- Design and Execute Strategic Projects: Lead the vision and execution for strategic projects, developing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, setting timelines, and driving successful execution.
- Manage Our Tech Stack: Oversee relationships with local software and service vendors, ensuring services meet standards and support operational needs. Lead software selection, contract negotiation, implementation, and rollout in partnership with global operations.
- Manage Key Risks: Identify potential operational risks and develop robust mitigation strategies and early warning systems. Proactively safeguard operations, navigating challenges effectively.
- KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators to assess operational efficiency, driving actionable insights and improvements.
- Revenue Operations: Oversee revenue processes, ensuring alignment with global strategies and local optimization. Manage the lead flow process, CRM, and ensure data integrity through effective collaboration with sales leadership.
Your Qualifications
- Proven Experience: High level of comfort and experience in operations, including discovery, process design, continuous improvement, and building systems for scale. Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious, measurable goals.
