We’re on a mission to unlock more rewarding relationships between merchants and their customers, starting with disrupting the way we pay for things online. Backed by Sequoia, Index Ventures, and Forerunner, as well as the founders of Affirm, Warby Parker, Allbirds, Casper, and Doordash, Catch is a new payment service that allows both merchants & consumers to save money by cutting out credit card processing fees. Everyone wins – except the big banks.

We’re a fully distributed, tight-knit team of 35, going on 50. As we enter hyper-growth, we’re looking for a versatile first recruiter to help source, hire, onboard and retain the next generations of talent at Catch.

As our first Talent Lead, you’ll take the lead on all things recruiting at Catch. Our early team has grown mostly through shared connections, with a culture that encourages trying hard things, voicing unique perspectives and bringing both our quirks and superpowers to work. Your mission is to build on those foundations, helping our team continue to scale in a way that attracts talented, diverse, enthusiastic people and enables them to do their best work. How we get there is up to you!

You’ve owned the end-to-end recruitment cycle at one or more high-growth companies. You’re focused on building scalable processes, but are also excited to tackle the day-to-day challenges of hiring and, if you have the inclination, support some aspects of people operations. You’ll be:

- Leading full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles
- Setting up diverse sourcing pipelines that scale with our team
- Working with hiring teams to scale processes that will minimize bias at each stage of the funnel
- Managing the candidate experience to create excellent outcomes at every touch point
- Building trusted talent advisor relationships with hiring managers to foster a holistic approach to talent strategy that considers the whole team’s trajectory and goes beyond the open JD at hand
- Building repeatable process for all aspects of talent acquisition and working with cross-functional stakeholders to craft our employer brand
- Optimizing the utility of our ATS (Lever), including tracking meaningful metrics and supporting a data-driven approach to the employee life cycle
- Supporting the inclusive culture we’re striving to scale
