We are looking to add a Sales Operations Manager to our team. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and have a strong work ethic, we would like to hear from you.
 
In this position, you will work closely with Cesium executives and engineers to support the sales process through opportunity management, team development, managing our database of customer engagements, and build processes for maximizing team success. The successful candidate will also deliver quotes to our customers and manage the internal workings of the sales team, as well as participate in strategy development. As such, excellent organization, mastery of the sales processes as well as written and verbal communication skills are required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for ownership of the CRM, maintaining corporate customer relationship management data.
    • Building processes that ensure prompt responses to customer requests for information.
    • Create quotes for new business opportunities.
    • Source and evaluate proposal opportunities that are relevant to the product roadmap.
    • Initiate contact with internal and sales rep teams to build processes and strategy.
    • Ensure prompt follow-up with calls to action.
    • Coordinate follow-up and engagement strategies to expand sales.
    • Help create and develop new channels for marketing and distribution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
    • 4+ years of experience working in business development/sales/operations roles.
    • Experience in the aerospace industry.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail.
    • Willingness to perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
    • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete important tasks.
    • Sense of urgency, with the ability to work well under pressure.
    • The ability to work well in teams, with peers, and management.
    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
