Why We're Hiring

The Complex NTWRK store manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Their duties include motivating sales teams, creating and executing business strategies, and training new sales staff. 

They will work closely with the Project Manager as well as the Complex NTWRK events team, and the relevant internal stakeholders, (Marketing, Brand, Merchandising, Creative, and Creator Services) to build a strategy for success. They will ensure that the sales team is executing on these strategies and are meeting key performance indicators. They will also lead and implement the in-store sales strategy and training, scheduling of their team of sales staff in coordination with the programming calendar.

What You'll Do

    • Collaborate with the Complex NTWRK festivals team to create and implement a retail success strategy that integrates Complex NTWRK’s differing and evolving partnerships and product release calendar. 
    • Identify and collaborate with the necessary product and service line stakeholders and your lead to execute on merchant success strategies.
    • Collaborate with your lead and peers to establish and evolve explicit and measurable performance standards and hold yourself and your people accountable to meeting those standards consistently.
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
    • Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations. 
    • Develop and arrange promotional material, build outs, cleaning, and in-store displays.
    • Monitor inventory levels and order restocks when necessary. 
    • Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits.
    • Undertake and delegate administrative duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
    • Work with Complex NTWRK’s operations to establish reporting that showcases the success of your function and the value of the storefront. 
    • Identify the highest potential within your people and empower them to attain it through coaching and development that is focused on quality behaviors and feedback.
    • Create and implement a sales strategy that integrates Complex NTWRK’s original livestream programming and ever evolving product.
    • Effectively communicate the vision, purpose, and objectives of Complex NTWRK’s storefront to reporting sales team.
    • Hire, train, and lead effective team members to deliver an exceptional experience for the community.
    • Ensure all IRL event and partnership experiences are staffed and organized properly alongside the Project Manager.
    • Partner with internal Complex NTWRK stakeholders to build out and constantly evolve programming.
    • Ensure that pop up events and partnership events are captured and meet the necessary team goals.
    • Ensure community assets and landing pages are submitted to weekly marketing newsletters in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with your lead and peers to establish and evolve explicit and measurable performance standards and hold yourself and your people accountable to meeting those standards consistently.
    • Work with data teams to establish reporting that showcases the success of your function.
    • Ensure all retail staff operational tasks are completed and/or delegated to employees.
    • Partnering with cleaning and security services to ensure compliance within store 

Who You Are

    • 5+ years of leadership experience
    • Experience running or managing a business
    • Experience facilitating community events
    • Experience with events and community building

    • Be sensitive to community concerns and issues.
    • Design and implement sales programs that improve the quality of consumer experience and promote Complex NTWRK’s long-term business strategies and goals.

$85,000 - $95,000 a year
The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Complex Total Rewards offerings for employees.
