What You'll Do
- Create and accurately enter purchase orders into the system.
- Track and manage inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolving delays as needed.
- Coordinate marketing assets for seasonal buys and launches, ensuring alignment with embargo dates.
- Gather, organize, and maintain all product information, including images and specifications.
- Manage and track product samples for upcoming collections and seasonal launches.
- Support the Buyer with vendor communications and follow-ups.
- Maintain well-organized files and documentation for all product and vendor information.
- Ensure all data is up-to-date and easily accessible for internal teams.
- Coordinate Buying Projects: Support buying team by managing timelines, deliverables, and key milestones for seasonal buys, promotional campaigns, and product launches.
- Track Workflow & Deadlines: Maintain project trackers to ensure all buying-related tasks (purchase orders, vendor communications, product deliveries) are completed on time.
- Issue Resolution: Identify project bottlenecks (such as delays in samples or order processing) and escalate to senior buyers or managers with recommendations for solutions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, prepare status updates, and contribute to post-project reviews to highlight successes and areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and help implement project management best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy in the buying process.
Who You Are
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in buying, merchandising, or supply chain support.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with buying/ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

$70,000 - $80,000 a year
The Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Complex Total Rewards offerings for employees.
