Security is the foundation of our software

As a Security Engineer, you will work along side Software Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure we deliver secure software systems for desktop, cloud, and on-prem infrastructure.

You will analyze all parts of our software stack to identify potential security vulnerabilities, design threat models, review application code for security threats, and build automated processes for ensuring security best-practices across the entire tech stack.

You're a good fit if you...

    • Have 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on security, across the entire software stack
    • Have experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
    • Have demonstrated experience analyzing, identifying, and planning against security threats
    • Have an expertise in assessing application code and infrastructure for security threats
    • Have experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL

Our interview process

We believe in an efficient and fair interview process. The entire process can usually be done in under a week and around your schedule.

We will schedule an introductory call with our CEO. This call will let you share your experience and what you are looking going for in your next role. We'll also use this call to help you understand more of our industry, vision, culture, and more about what we are looking for in this role.

If there is mutual interest, we will have you perform a compensated take home exercise that can be completed in about four hours. The exercise will be a subset of a real problem that you might work on in any given day in this role.

After you've completed the take home exercise, we will review your work and schedule a call between you and our team to walk through your exercise in detail. This call should be a dialog, and we encourage you to use it to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and collaborate together to consider other solutions to the exercise. We will inform you of a decision within 24 hours.
