About Dioxycle
Dioxycle is transforming carbon dioxide from a waste into a valuable resource. Established in 2021, Dioxycle builds high-performance carbon capture and electrolysis technologies that convert carbon dioxide (CO2) into the world’s most widely used renewable feedstocks, fuels, and commodity chemicals.
These outputs aim to provide cost effective and scalable alternatives to fossil fuel derived chemicals, while also abating emissions from the hardest-to-decarbonize sectors like aviation, steel and chemical manufacturing. Dioxycle’s technology has the potential to eliminate gigatons of CO2 emissions, and be a critical component of humanity’s climate solution.
Dioxycle was awarded the i-Lab program award in 2020, and in 2021 was the only European company to receive the Breakthrough Energy Fellows program award, a program launched by Bill Gates.
Your Mission
Dioxycle is hiring for a Junior Mechanical Designer who, in collaboration with our stack team, will be in charge of the development of our electrolyzer products.
In particular, your missions will involve:
- Designing new electrochemical stacks using CAD softwares
- Mounting and assembling the designed components, the job is hands-on: we do not expect you to only sit behind a computer!
- Co-leading innovative product design
- Following the components machining with suppliers
We are looking for a pragmatic, hands-on, and energic Mechanical Designer willing to save the planet with us. Below are the skills we believe will enable you to be successful in this role.
Skillset we are looking for
- Open minded, willing to work in a good mood and result oriented
- Previous experience in mechanical design engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design (CAD)
- Solid hands-on capacity: we expect you to be able to mount and assemble the part that you design.
- Most of the work can be done in French but English is the daily work language for many collaborators.

- A 60-minute video call for a technical deepdive
- An in-person series of interviews to meet the entire team
