Part Time/Full Time

Dogdrop is a new, fast-growing dog care start-up based in LA, building the largest network of dog daycares in the country. Our convenient locations are designed to give modern dog parents flexible access to quality dog care from a brand they know and trust.
Dogdrop is opening its first Denver location in the centrally-located and dynamic 9th & Colorado shopping area in May 2023. We are seeking a ROCK STAR Dog Attendant (aka Droperator) to oversee the dogs in our care. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of bringing a new brand to Denver and building it up from the ground level.
As a Dogdrop Droperator, your focus will be on monitoring and managing the dogs in our care, ensuring their health & safety and proper socialization between dogs. Part of the role will require cleaning up after the dogs and keeping the facility clean and orderly.

- Ensure all dogs are always safe and healthy while at Dogdrop
- Supervise the dogs in your dog park at all times. You must be able to stand or walk for the duration of your shift (except during breaks)
- Get to know each dog’s personality, schedule, and triggers so you can be as effective as possible in managing and engaging with them
- Manage the energy of the dog park; understand that dogs are pack animals, and their energy needs to be managed both individually and as a group, which requires constant engagement and interaction.
- Be able to redirect dogs constantly (with commands, treats, toys, etc)
- Help evaluate new dogs to see if Dogdrop is a good fit for them
- Be able to execute any special requests that dog parents have (feeding, administering meds, giving naps or breaks)
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the staff, making sure everyone is on the same page about each dog’s needs and behavior.
About you
- You love dogs and have experience working with dogs at a dog care facility.
- You know the signs of stress and aggression in dogs and are not scared to jump in and manage their energy and activity.
- You know about dog behavior but are also eager to learn the Dogdrop way of doing things.
- You are very patient and always kind to dogs and their humans.
- You don’t mind picking up or cleaning after dogs, and able to follow cleaning protocols and checklists.
- You’re punctual, reliable, and professional.
