We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a deal-maker and strategic thinker, capable of identifying, developing, and closing high-impact business opportunities that will drive the future of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Relationship Development & Execution
- Take a leading role in identifying and building strong relationships with key organizations, industry leaders, and decision-makers within the space technology and quantum computing sectors. You will actively engage with potential partners to create and execute collaborative opportunities, establishing long-term relationships that align with our commercial goals.
- Business Development Strategy & Execution
- Play a key role in developing and executing our business development strategy within frontier technologies. This includes identifying high-value partnerships, crafting tailored value propositions, and negotiating and closing deals that contribute to our growth and market leadership. You will take a proactive approach to drive business, not just through conversations but by delivering tangible outcomes.
- Market Insights & Commercial Planning
- Stay on the cutting edge of market dynamics, technological advancements, and emerging trends within the space and quantum computing sectors. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to inform strategic decision-making and contribute to the company’s commercial planning. Your insights will shape our growth initiatives and help us stay ahead of industry developments.
- Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and business acumen to successfully close strategic deals. Your focus will be on understanding business needs, aligning them with our solutions, and ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships that drive value for all parties involved.
- People Skills & High-Performance Culture
- As a key player in driving growth, you will be expected to build strong relationships both inside and outside the company. This includes understanding the right cultural fit for partnerships and contributing to building a high-performance, collaborative team environment.
- Commercial Representation & Networking
- Represent our company at high-level industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Engage with stakeholders, influencers, and thought leaders to enhance our presence in the space and quantum computing ecosystems, ensuring that our brand is synonymous with innovation and leadership in the field.
Qualifications
- Business Development Focus Proven experience in business development or sales, with a demonstrated ability to establish and cultivate relationships, negotiate deals, and close opportunities. You thrive on finding and executing strategic partnerships.
- Tech-Savvy & Curious While your focus is on business development, a keen interest in frontier technologies such as quantum computing and space technology will be key. You should be comfortable discussing tech topics and collaborating with technical teams.
- Event Experience (Bonus) Previous experience in organizing or supporting the execution of hackathons, workshops, or similar community events is highly valuable. You should be familiar with the logistics, recruitment, and promotion involved in making these events successful.
- Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills You should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of partnerships and engage with key stakeholders across a variety of sectors.
- Passion for Innovation You are passionate about frontier technologies and the potential they have to transform industries. You understand the importance of creating community-driven innovation and are excited about driving these initiatives forward.
- Networking Skills A strong ability to network and build meaningful relationships with industry leaders, organizations, and developers. Connections in the space tech or quantum computing sectors would be a significant plus.
- Academic background in STEM fields, with strong technical understanding. Degrees in computer science, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields are preferred.
