Job Description
This role offers an excellent career opportunity for a skilled marketing communications specialist with highly developed writing ability and excellent interpersonal skills. You will have proven experience with social media platforms and their effective strategic use for publicity/ promotional purposes as well as experience writing content for technical products. 

Responsibilities

    • Create media releases, articles, stories using data and storytelling to craft engaging content that helps acquire new leads, educate and nurture prospects through the funnel, and win loyalty from customers.
    • Write optimised content for a technical audience across multiple platforms such as our website and social media platforms.
    • Create and deliver email marketing campaigns including collaborating with product managers to develop customer communications related to product releases.
    • Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of our Marketing & Communication plan:
    • Create and schedule email & social media campaigns including paid,
    • Maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, new product launches, and other key business initiatives,
    • Measure and optimise content for higher engagement / better rankings in search
    • Coordinate, edit and produce video content
    • Assist with coordination of online and offline events
    • Provide support with the day to day activities of the marketing function 

Essential

    • Five + years’ of experience in a marketing, communications or public relations role in a technology company
    • Proven experience developing and implementing an effective marketing and communications program.
    • Demonstrated effective ability to effectively utilise email programs, social media platforms and analytics.
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Ability to write engaging content in the form of media releases, user stories, social media posts for a B2B audience and maintain the right level of  technical content.
    • Good video editing skills
    • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. marketing, communications or public relations) or equivalent expertise.

Desirable

    • Interest in LiDAR mapping and autonomous flight technologies
    • Design skills – comfortable working with Canca, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
    • Experience with paid social / Adwords 
    • Experience with CRM - Hubspot
