Job Description
The Sales Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end business development activities (marketing > sales > customer success) of the company. The role combines data analytics, process design/implementation/operationalisation and compliance management.
Working in collaboration with Marketing, Sales Managers, Customer Success and Emesent Leadership your primary responsibility is to ensure the business development teams win new business in a consistent and repeatable way. The key responsibility is to ensure reliable sales performance data is always available that supports effective decision making.

Salary $85,000 - $105,000 OTE (base + bonus) depending on experience.


    • Partner with the business development team to define lead qualification process and analyse campaign performance.
    • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and deliver regular insights to the business.
    • Define and deliver recommendations to improve the funnel performance for sales management.
    • Refine customer segmentation, assist with customer success management and create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell opportunities.
    • Support the sales team using HubSpot with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas.
    • Support the tracking and analysis of the key business development growth KPIs, including sales volumes; forecasting accuracy; pipeline growth rates; win/loss rates; upsells and renewals; sales rep quota attainment.
    • Produce accurate sales reporting for reps, managers, sales leaders, and executive team.
    • Maintain sales and distributor contracts and ensure all paperwork is compliant to Emesent’s revenue recognition policy.
    • Manage and maintain data in HubSpot and/or other software systems.
    • Work with the Finance team to enforce deal compliance.
    • Review all outbound sales material to ensure consistency and compliance.


    • 5+ years of related experience in sales operations, including 2+ years in a SaaS enterprise sales environment.
    • Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, pricing and reporting/analytics.
    • Strong working knowledge of sales productivity tools, including best practices for use, integrations and reporting.
    • Experience in developing, implementing and tightly managing sales process improvement programs.
    • Experience collaborating with leaders cross-functionally (e.g. Finance, HR and Marketing).
    • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proactive, collaborative attitude, effective at working brilliantly with others to achieve desired business outcomes.
    • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on coordination capacity.
    • Ability to adapt to a growing, evolving business and work environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.


    • Deep understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue metrics
    • Direct experience in the use and optimisation of Hubspot
    • Successful experience in high growth technology sales into mining or infrastructure, or other relevant industry.
