As an AEC Regional Sales Manager at Emesent, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in a designated territory(Ohio and Illinois) in the US. You will be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with companies in your region. Your primary focus will be on understanding their needs, developing strategic sales plans, and executing these plans to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the technology industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and account management in the AEC sector.
Here's what we need
- Key AEC Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new AEC customers. Understand their business objectives, challenges, and pain points to identify opportunities for our products and services.
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to create comprehensive sales strategies and plans for targeting and acquiring new enterprise customers. Leverage market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform decision-making.
- New Business Development: Identify and engage prospective mining customers. Present compelling solutions and value propositions that address their specific business needs.
- Sales Execution: Lead the sales process from prospecting to deal closure. Conduct product demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and navigate complex sales cycles.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and provide customer feedback to drive continuous product improvements.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales performance metrics, pipeline, and revenue forecasts. Generate regular reports for sales leadership to review and make data-driven decisions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage and update customer interactions, sales activities, and deal progress.
- Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to remain a subject matter expert and provide insights to the team.
- Travel: This role will require occasional domestic and occasional international travel to meet with key clients and attend industry events.
How you'll suceed
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales and account management experience in the technology industry, preferably dealing with AEC clients.
- Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of our technology products and solutions, as well as the AEC industry requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in negotiating and closing large-scale deals with AEC customers.
- Relationship Building: Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Capability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop comprehensive sales strategies.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Education: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
