Corporate FP&A/Investor Relations is an important function for Energy Vault, Inc., sitting at the center of the finance team to help the CFO, EV’s leadership and EV’s board gain financial visibility and insights on the business. This team overseas the company’s financial processes, including our Annual Planning process and quarterly forecasts, and helps architect the information flow and methodologies we need for dynamic business partnership. Corporate FP&A sets the parameters and forecast processes for the finance team, integrates closely with the Investor Relations/Marketing Team to set guidance, and help tell our story through numbers, and partners with other key operational teams on the moving pieces that impact our financial outlook (tax, accounting, treasury, facilities). You will work with partners across finance and the leadership team.

This role can be performed in our Westlake Village, CA office or remote in the USA.

What you will do

    • Manage key financial processes, focusing on budget planning, forecasting, performance reporting, and others.
    • Work closely with all Department Heads on annual Budgeting for CEO’s and Board consent.
    • Develop new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning and SEC Reporting and collaborate across all levels.
    • Lead FP&A model and create comprehensive PF model for 5 years going forward and develop metrics to track Department-specific and company-wide trends, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations.
    • Maintain company’s SOX404 compliance.
    • Provide financial analysis and commentary important to management and IR teams, and forecast messaging.
    • Support day-to-day administrative investor communication.
    • Support implementation on NetSuite Projects/Inventory module.
    • Other duties as required.

What a qualified candidate should possess

    • 8-12 years’ experience in FP&A and Investor Relations within finance departments.
    • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
    • Expertise in Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
    • A passion for carbon neutrality by 2050.
