FTX US Derivatives is a digital currency futures and options exchange and clearinghouse regulated by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).FTX US Derivatives is available to both retail and institutional investors 24x7 and offers physical settlement of all contracts, block trading and algorithmic trading opportunities for institutional investors, and direct access for all traders. Since launching in 2017 as LedgerX, FTX US Derivatives has cleared over 10 million options and swaps contracts. 

FTX US Derivatives pioneered the bitcoin mini contracts in the US. Our mini contracts have an underlying notional of 0.01 BTC, enabling granular trading and ensuring market scalability as bitcoin prices trend upwards.

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support Ledger Holdings Inc’s, including FTX US Derivatives, day-to-day accounting and operations. In this role you will prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations as well as assist with the monthly close processes. You will also manage the full Accounts Payable life cycle, prepare and file daily bank statements to regulators, manage corporate credit card transactions, assist with customer verification for large withdrawals, maintain accurate vendor records and prepare 1099 filings. 

If you have a fundamental understanding of basic accounting principles, the ability to gain a thorough knowledge of the general ledger and are comfortable interacting with customers than this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team!  

What we're looking for:

    • A detail oriented, strong communicator with excellent time management skills
    • Ability to analyze financial results, research discrepancies and effectively report findings
    • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
    • Clear and effective process documentation skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
    • 2-3 years  of accounting experience
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills is a must
    • Experience with NetSuite is a strong asset
    • CPA license, or pursuing CPA license, is as asset
