Federato’s AI/ML-driven platform leverages deep reinforcement learning to help insurance companies optimize the portfolio of risks they insure, allowing them to continue to provide fair and equitable pricing in difficult-to-price areas. Our category-defining ‘RiskOps’ solution drives better underwriting decisions by operationalizing underutilized data investments and surfacing real-time risk and portfolio insights. We focus on putting insurance underwriters back in the driver’s seat, helping them meet their goals while providing an important service to society.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Marketing Leader to help us create a new and important category in insurance. You will create, manage, and execute key marketing programs that highlight our difference in the market. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for building the foundation for all of our marketing efforts and accelerate a stellar content marketing program to further Federato’s brand story.

You will work closely with the Product team to develop and amplify our product narrative. You will create assets that the revenue org can leverage to land new business, retain, and expand existing client relationships.

As a member of a lean but fast-growing team, you will have the support you need to build a world-class marketing function for Federato.

Our ideal marketing leader will bring a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive pipeline and grow revenue.

Product Marketing: You will be responsible for helping us create a new category in insurance called RiskOps. We need you to help our customers see the future with Federato. You will craft compelling messages and coordinate with internal & external stakeholders on campaigns to further our brand awareness. You will leverage PR/media relationships and events to strategically accelerate our market position and product awareness among prospects, partners, and press.

Program Management: You and your team will be developing and executing some of the biggest revenue-driving efforts across the company in close collaboration with product, sales, and customer success. We expect you to be creative and highly organized in order to design and execute the right programs. You are proficient at tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of all marketing activities, using data and analytics to improve performance continuously.

Enterprise SaaS: We are fortunate to have a customer base that spans from some of the world’s largest insurance companies all the way to start-up MGAs on the Federato platform. You will be responsible for developing and amplifying a compelling message that will resonate with our target customers and help us capitalize on limited mindshare. You will have built effective and scalable customer acquisition campaigns for an enterprise SaaS company. 

Leadership: As our marketing leader, you will be responsible for inspiring your team and influencing your peers to rally them around a clear marketing perspective. You care about your team and value ideas over hierarchy.

Key Focus Areas - Product Marketing + Demand Generation:

    • Articulate our unique product differentiators and value proposition
    • Create an engaging content narrative 
    • Develop sales enablement, materials, and training
    • Produce product demos, videos, technical documentation, and white papers
    • Amplify new product feature launches to grow with existing customers
    • Oversee development and execution of content marketing strategy
    • Deploy targeted ABM strategy to contribute to pipeline
    • Manage industry conferences, targeted field events, and webinars
    • Conduct targeted email / LinkedIn campaigns

Bonus Points:

    • You've previously and successfully worked with data-driven communications, CRM, and messaging platforms.
    • You've worked in enterprise software with technology products that have targeted large enterprises and have longer sales cycles.
    • Successful experience working in early to mid-stage start ups.
    • You have extensive experience working with large enterprise sales teams.
    • You have worked in P&C insurance or a similar industry.

$150,000 - $250,000 a year
