Flex is a fully remote company and this role can be performed from anywhere.

đź•ş About the Role

Flex is seeking a Director of Content Marketing, a pivotal role in steering the company's content strategy to new heights. This position, integral to molding our company culture, will focus on cultivating our unique brand voice and refining how we connect with our diverse audiences.

✅ What You’ll Do

Strategic Content Leadership: Spearhead the development and execution of Flex's content strategy, ensuring it aligns with our brand values and resonates with our target audiences.

Building Brand Through Content: Drive the narrative of our brand through innovative content initiatives, focusing on SEO, CRO, SEM, and website architecture to attract and engage through various channels like organic, paid, direct, and referral streams.

Product Launch and Messaging: Collaborate closely in launching new products, crafting compelling messaging strategies, and providing essential resources to bolster our sales team and partners. This includes creating customer profiles, market insights whitepapers, event highlights, product-focused emails, and social media content.

Directional and Editorial Oversight: Lead the editorial vision and strategic direction for Flex's online presence, ensuring content is not only engaging but also drives inbound interest and builds our pipeline.

Media and PR Guidance: Offer expert advice on media training and public relations initiatives, positioning Flex as a thought leader in the industry.

Goal-Setting: Project manage content projects cross-functionally to deliver on budget, timeline, and goals.

⚡️ What You Bring

    • Minimum 5 years managing content strategy from SMBS and Mid-Market ($1-50M in revenue) from the early stages of a B2B startup through rapid expansion. Had responsibility for both strategy and implementation across multiple marketing channels and products, along with experience in search engine and conversion rate optimization (both content and technical).
    • The hunger and desire to build again. No matter how senior, you’re eager to get your hands dirty, tackle a new challenge, and make an impact in Flex’s huge underserved industry.
    • Strong orientation towards metrics with a proven methodology for setting attainable yet ambitious targets, routinely assessing productivity/progress, and making real-time adjustments.
    • Experience building and giving design input on multiple types of assets, including written, interactive, and video. Written includes everything from blog articles to case studies, whitepapers, SEO, and on-page copy.
    • An emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, knowing how to explain concepts to non-expert audiences, and know when and how to get helpful input.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
    • Highly adaptable with a comprehension of the lifecycles of a startup
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills coupled with interpersonal abilities
