As a Jr. Content Designer/Junior Copywriter, you'll join the marketing team to help establish, grow, and maintain the early version of our brand voice. You will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and engaging content across a diverse range of marketing channels. We are looking for a wordsmith who is not only proficient in general copywriting but also possesses a deep understanding of performance and brand marketing strategies. 

Your primary responsibilities will encompass creating impactful copy for organic social media, paid media campaigns, brand campaigns, content creation, and more. You will report to our Chief Marketing Officer and work cross-functionally to centralize the language across multiple channels.

The Role Itself

    • Be charged with simplifying, organizing, and explaining a complex ecosystem of concepts, features, and value props.
    • Collaborate with and guide messaging and terminology to Product Marketing and Creative partners as they create marketing campaigns and products.
    • Work alongside other content designers, product designers, product managers, and engineers to understand customer needs, define requirements, and align on business goals.
    • Drive the creation of original concepts that result in compelling communication
    • Proofread and edit all written content to ensure materials are error-free, polished, and carry Fliffs' tone and voice.
    • Create written content for a wide variety of channels including, but not limited to, web pages, paid social channels, in-app communication, error messages, social posts, email campaigns, marketing campaigns, commercial scripts, and more.

Experience Required

    • 2+ years experience in content strategy, UX writing, content design (or whatever you happen to call it).
    • Experience working on sports-related products and a passion for the space
    • Strong UX and systems thinking, plus insight into product strategy.
    • Ability to write clear, concise and compelling copy that supports brand and marketing goals.
    • A desire to be a part of a small team and begin at the ground level.
    • Well-versed in social media, with a keen understanding of leveraging platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram for maximum impact.
    • A portfolio that showcases your writing, any relevant work on mobile apps, and a range of content strategy deliverables.
