Food Rocket is a San Francisco-based FoodTech startup that provides the fastest grocery delivery in the US, promising door-to-door delivery within 10-15 minutes of placing an order. Its' business model is based on AI-enabled technologies to manage inventory, forecast demand, and optimize delivery time by predicting the closest micro fulfillment center that offers the fastest delivery time and the lowest fulfillment and delivery cost. The startup is competing with the biggest players in the market — DoorDash, GoPuff, Amazon Fresh, InstaCart.

Responsibilities:

    • Own the end-to-end design and facilitation of Learning and Development programs by partnering with leadership and assessing the company’s growing areas as to effectively message, brand, and embed specific programs
    • Work closely with frontline store level trainers and managers to facilitate trainings
    • Focus on building programs in areas such as: frontline onboarding and growth, employee development, career advancement
    • Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners and their respective client groups to consult on specific team needs, iterate for bespoke programs, and reach a wide audience to create long term user adoption of programs
    • Support and implement a culture of coaching, mentoring, career conversations and internal mobility
    • Use data and metrics to drive evaluation on program effectiveness and ROIs to inform the needs of the organization
    • Maintain and update program materials, including but not limited to: packets, informational sheets, digital recordings, webinars, and online trainings
    • Directs training and development processes ensuring all new hires receive high-quality orientation and on-boarding experiences
    • Oversees the annual training and development needs assessment
    • Plans, organizes, helps develop and leads Onboarding, Job Skills and Management training programs

    • Proven experience partnering with internal clients to develop and implement training plans, including conducting needs assessments, training program design and delivery, and training materials development
    • Proven ability to create training activities that support operational objectives and meet ROI
    • Experience using learning management systems and building online training programs
    • Project management skills, including the ability to meet project quality expectations and schedule commitments
    • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills required
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize evolving workload independently and also for team
    • Knowledge of learning and development best practices
    • A proven track record of management training program development and management
    • Background in grocery, last mile logistics, or large frontline operations helpful
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability coach, mentor, and develop a team of frontline trainers and managers
    • Exercise sound judgment in interactions with others
    • The successful candidate will be passionate about learning, capable of building high-performing teams, and an experienced 'player / coach' who can lead by example 

Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Learning and Development or related training role
    • Minimum 1 year project management experience preferably in field operations or human resources
    • Minimum 2 years' experience managing and leading teams
    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Management or related field
    • Bonus points for human capital analytics experience
PAY RATE:

$55,000 - $60,000
