Fuse is on a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to fusion energy. Our core product is TITAN: an Impedance Matched Marx Generator (IMG). TITAN is the most efficient and powerful (TW) machine of its kind. Fusers have built and licensed Magical Unicorn and FAETON I, 2 novel pulsed power generators. We offer a unique opportunity to build the team that will make fusion energy a reality.

You will be joining an early-stage fusion company. If you like the idea of racking up air miles while meeting scientists, students, and engineers from all over the US and the world, then this is the job for you. It will be hard. But what worthwhile cause isn’t?

Responsibilities:
Map out an in-person recruiting strategy for universities, conferences, and recruiting events all over the US and the world
Travel across the country to attend conferences and host events where you attract all the top minds in the fusion space
Create and host buzz-worthy events
Connect prospective candidates with the right openings Learn our technology well enough to speak about it with experts

Minimum Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in recruiting and/or marketing
At least 2 years of experience with event planning or equivalent
Onsite in our Bay Area office
Ability to travel 50% of the time
To conform to US government export regulations, applicants must be a (i) US citizen or national, (ii) US lawful permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the US.

Preferred Qualifications:
University technical recruiting experience

Additional Requirements
Must be able to travel and work extended hours/weekends as needed.
