Visual interfaces are how partners and clients meet our product. We are looking for someone to help us define the relatively new and rapidly evolving space of conversational UIs. From our first party Web Chat UI, to our Client Portal and Javascript SDKs, you’ll have the chance to help build and maintain a variety of novel front end products that serve a wide variety of audiences, from external bot developers and designers, to marketing content creators and partners, to end users engaging in conversational experiences.

- Translate UI component designs into functional, modular, and reusable code based on specs and technical design documents.
- Take ownership over certain front end products and work alongside the Front End Lead to define their direction and architecture.
- Take accountability for the efficiency and maintainability of front end code bases.
- Write tests for new and existing components alike, always striving for keeping the coverage of our code bases as high as possible.
- Document new behavior as well as changes to existing behavior clearly and concisely.
- Raise tickets with clear reproducible steps when encountering any issues with our code bases.
- Work alongside the Front End Lead to establish workload and cadence on a weekly basis, while being proactive about background tasks that can be actioned on if no direction is given.


- Strong modern HTML/CSS/JS foundation.
- Experience with any major JS framework (Angular, React, Vue).

- Experience with React and Vue.
- Experience with any unit testing framework (Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, etc).

- Experience developing Web Components.
- Experience with Gatsby.
- Experience working with AI, chatbots, or chat applications.
