Role
We are seeking a Director of Digital Design to lead our design team, driving the aesthetic and functional evolution of our software products for consumers, creators and our staff at the factory. The ideal candidate will possess a perfect blend of strategic mindset and hands-on expertise, as well as a passion for creating user-centric designs that serve both our consumer and manufacturing audiences.

Responsibilities

    • Brand Identity: Drive the visual aspect of our brand identity, ensuring a consistent and impactful presence across all touchpoints - digital or physical.
    • Digital Design: Lead and execute design projects for our emails, social media platforms, and website landing pages. This includes creating engaging graphics, layouts, animations and visual elements that resonate with our audience of design-lovers and creators.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and develop designs that align with these goals.
    • Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends in graphic design and digital media, incorporating fresh and innovative ideas into our design strategy.
    • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
    • Brand Guidelines: Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency in visual messaging across all platforms.
    • Feedback Integration: Actively seek and integrate feedback from stakeholders to refine designs and enhance visual communication.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
    • At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on digital media. Bonus for working at a high-growth DTC brand.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing skills in digital design, particularly in email, social media, and web.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Creative thinker with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
