About The Role
In this role, you will join the team as a Full Stack & Automation Engineer, responsible for developing internal applications, maintaining existing systems, and supporting business-as-usual (BAU) operations across a variety of products and departments. You will also contribute to critical infrastructure and productivity platform migration initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption while improving scalability and reliability. This role spans backend, frontend, and automation workstreams, offering hands-on experience in building secure, integrated, and cost-efficient systems that serve enterprise functions such as HR, Finance, and IT Operations.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to infrastructure and productivity platform migration projects
- Support integration and automation workflows across internal systems
- Build and maintain full stack applications using technologies such as Python, Golang, Ruby, Java and Next.js
- Develop and optimize automation workflows using integration and orchestration platforms
- Maintain and improve business-as-usual (BAU) internal applications and services
- Perform debugging, monitoring, and system performance tuning
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders across departments
- Document technical work and share knowledge within the team
What You Will Need
- Experience in backend and frontend development, ideally with Python, Golang, Ruby, Java or similar languages
- Exposure to or interest in workflow automation and system integration
- General understanding of cloud infrastructure, service deployment, and CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with API design and integration, as well as relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Good debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and contribute across the stack (infra, backend, frontend, automation)
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git and scripting for automation
- Strong collaboration and communication in a team-oriented environment

You’ll be joining a collaborative and technically diverse engineering team that builds and maintains internal systems and automation platforms to support GoTo’s enterprise functions. Our projects span from custom app development to automation of business workflows and cross-platform integration. As a software engineer, you’ll work closely with experienced teammates and gain exposure to large-scale system design and operational excellence.
