As our Strategic Finance & Planning Manager for Transport Strategy & Planning, your role is a sweet spot between strategy and finance. You’ll take the wheel to drive Gojek’s Transport business. You will be in the forefront of helping to drive overall direction and narrative for transport, including any strategic financial decisions impacting our operations. This will include providing key insights to the leadership team and propose solutions to drive efficiency and optimal capital allocation. This will also require you to work closely with our strategy team, the finance team, product managers, marketing team, research and business intelligence teams. In this process you will get to discover the fundamental drivers of our business and identify opportunities to grow our business into a world class transportation ecosystem. What You Will Do
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to shape product and country narratives, translating them into annual targets, budgets, and forecasts shared with investors and analysts.
- Build and improve financial and operating models to break down initiatives into actionable levers, supporting both strategic decisions and on-the-ground execution.
- Collaborate with teams across Gojek’s ecosystem (e.g., food, logistics) on company-wide strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with GMs, regional teams, PMs, Marketing, and Strategy & Planning to optimize business outcomes and capital allocation, while identifying key risks and opportunities.
- Manage regular reporting for Transport products, consolidating business, financial, product, and OKR updates for leadership.
- Conduct financial and strategic analysis to support new growth initiatives.
- Analyze global transport industry trends and competitors by reviewing financial filings, reports, and other market insights to inform long-term strategy.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and BI teams to drive data alignment and ensure a single source of truth across functions.
What You Will Need
- BS/MS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services industry, corporate strategy roles in technology companies, or consulting
- Outstanding analytical skills - standard methodologies should be second nature, building models that are efficient, scalable and intuitive for working teams to understand and use
- Excellent communication skill is needed as you will need to build relationships across multiple teams and across various countries to help drive successful outcomes
- High ownership and the ability to constantly prioritize and manage multiple high-priority projects
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Powerpoint/Google Slides (which may include Thinkcell), and other analytical databases. Understanding of SQL is a plus.
- Hustle is essential, moving quickly and executing to allow for continual iteration is a core competency of the team
