About The Role
In this role, you will be supporting group-wide accounting issues, ranging from revenue recognition to advising on business combination transactions. You will be based in Indonesia or Singapore (required to have the necessary documents to work in either country) and will be an integral player in the GoTo Group’s Finance and Accounting Team.
What You Will Do
- Partner with the Finance Team of the business segments (On-Demand Services and Financial Technology Services) and the various internal stakeholders to provide technical accounting advice/recommendations on new initiatives, products, and services
- Prepare technical papers regarding the applications of new/complex FRSs, new product launches, M&A, and group restructuring activities
- Liaise with external stakeholders on key accounting assessments
- Implement Group Accounting Policies and align accounting policies across the entities
- In charge of accounting operations such as fair value measurement, share-based compensation calculation, or impairment assessment.
What You Will Need
- Degree level qualification in Accounting / ACCAA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
- At least 8 years of experience in Accounting / Financial Reporting roles
- Passionate about accounting concepts and their applications
- Strong knowledge of IFRS is mandatory
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority and work independently with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia (verbal and written) is a plus
- Prior working experience with SAP is a plus
- Proficient in Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word

The Accounting Policy and Complex Accounting Resolution is a specialized accounting team within the GoTo Group’s Finance and Accounting Function. We are predominantly concerned with the accounting impact on GoTo Group’s financial statements from product launches, M&A, and group restructuring activities. Our work is project / assignment-based and challenging even for experienced accounting professionals.
