About the Role

This role is central to our Credit Risk Strategy function, focusing on account management strategy for merchant lending products including Gopay Pinjam Modal (GPPM) and Toko Kapital. Key challenges include balancing portfolio growth with risk mitigation and navigating complex merchant data to inform actionable decisions. 
The person will be expected to manage the account management process such as limit management and strategy for existing users. In order to support the deliverables, this person is also expected to quickly learn internal risk frameworks, establish relationships with key business stakeholders, and contribute to risk reporting and strategy execution, ultimately impacting portfolio quality, credit performance, and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

    • Monitor merchant portfolio for credit and operational risk signals.
    • Execute the limit strategy framework and deliver the continuous strategy improvement by doing (but not limited to) experiment tests periodically.
    • Monitor and make sure the effectiveness of the current credit risk policy, and execute the strategy by using a decision engine.
    • Collaborate with business teams to support lending decisions.
    • Execute account-level interventions to mitigate emerging risks.
    • Maintain accurate records and risk dashboards for reporting purposes.
    • Support periodic credit reviews and internal audits.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Credit Risk team.

About the Team

This role is a key member of the Credit Risk team, driving the merchant account management strategy and safeguarding portfolio health while ensuring compliance with risk policies. A major focus is balancing business growth with risk mitigation through the analysis of complex merchant and transaction data.
The position is based at PT Mapan Global Reksa (Findaya) in Jakarta, supporting our cash loan business alongside two local Risk teammates who focus on risk strategy and regulatory reporting. The broader Risk division spans offices in Shanghai, Chengdu, and Singapore, offering opportunities for cross-border collaboration and exposure to diverse markets.
