About the role
We are seeking a Strategic Risk Manager to operationalize strategic risk frameworks, lead high-impact projects, and shape regulatory readiness initiatives. This role will have significant influence on the company’s decision-making processes and long-term resilience by driving proactive risk management across cross-functional teams.
What you will do
- Lead the design and execution of strategic risk assessments across regulatory, financial, and operational domains.
- Own the development and application of scenario planning frameworks to support executive decision-making and contingency planning.
- Translate complex risk insights into strategic recommendations that inform business planning and stakeholder positioning.
- Drive cross-functional programs that embed risk mitigation into business operations, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
- Engage and influence stakeholders to align risk strategies with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and emerging strategic risks, and lead interventions that strengthen risk posture.
- Provide guidance to senior leadership on policy and operational implications of regulatory shifts.
What you will need
- 6+ years of experience in risk management, strategy, or business operations, ideally within tech, ride-hailing, consulting, or regulated industries.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence strategic decisions at a senior level.
- Advanced analytical skills, including expertise in scenario planning, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
- Deep understanding of regulatory risk landscapes, ideally with exposure to transport, digital platforms, or fintech.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with a track record of cross-team alignment.
- Ability to frame complex challenges clearly and drive decision-making under ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, with experience mentoring or guiding team members in risk or strategy functions.
