About the Role

Industrial Relations & Formalities Lead role oversees labor relations and develops global HR policies with a focus on international and Indonesian regulations. This position ensures compliance with diverse labor laws while fostering positive employee relations across regions. Ideal candidates will have expertise in global policy frameworks and deep knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations.

What You Will Do

    • Develop and implement global HR policies, ensuring compliance with international and Indonesian labor laws.
    • Manage employee relations, including dispute resolution, with a focus on Indonesia
    • Advise leadership on labor relations strategies tailored to international and Indonesian contexts.
    • Monitor global and Indonesian labor trends to proactively update policies.
    • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance across international regions and Indonesia.
    • Facilitate training on labor policies, emphasizing Indonesian employment regulations.
    • Oversee grievance procedures to maintain a positive work environment in global and Indonesian operations.

What You Will Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, labor relations, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • 8+ years of experience in industrial relations or global HR policy, with specific expertise in Indonesian labor laws.
    • Preferable In-depth knowledge of international (Singapore, India, China) and must in depth in Indonesian labor regulations and compliance frameworks.
    • Proven experience in conflict resolution, particularly in Indonesia.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-regional collaboration (english communication)
    • Ability to translate complex global and Indonesian regulations into actionable policies.
    • Experience in a global corporate environment with a focus on Indonesian operations.

The Global HR Policy and Compliance team designs policies that ensure fair, inclusive workplaces while navigating complex international and Indonesian labor regulations. We address challenges in global compliance and employee relations, with a special emphasis on aligning with Indonesia’s dynamic labor landscape.
