About The Role
The individual will spearhead the PPGR team’s advocacy in the media and social media by leveraging his/her strong knowledge and networking among the national media leadership. The individual will also craft the policy advocacy strategy in the public sphere to win the public perception which will lead to higher acceptance of policy initiatives that the PPGR team advocates.
What You Will Do
- Develop strategic communications plans to advance the company’s policy advocacy initiatives.
- Lead the creation, execution and dissemination of media publications, social media contents, policy briefs, researches, op-eds, policy dialogues and other activities aiming to educate policy makers, the media and the general public in relation to the company’s policy initiatives.
- Prepare proactive and reactive communications for policy and regulatory issues.
- Prepare the company’s spokesperson for media and public engagements related to policy and regulatory issues.
Whay You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Law, Politics, International Relations, Economics or Social Sciences from a reputable university;
- At least eight years in a managerial role within media companies or public policy and government relations, or in sectors such as think tanks, civil society organizations, or government which focus on policy advocacy through public channels.
- Established network among media stakeholders with a proven impact on policy decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and independent project management capabilities.
