About the Role
As UX Writer for GoTo Financial, you will work on products for business owners and their employees. You have the opportunity to directly influence the success of more than 1 million businesses that have partnered with us, with more on the way. Your contributions will make business tools easier to understand and use. We firmly believe that good UI content creates narratives that define user experience.
What You Will Do
- Understand the product briefs and be able to present ideas/solutions to the team under the supervision of the Writer lead
- Effectively craft content for features and improvements
- Proactively seek feedback to improve your work
- Proactively seek knowledge about your craft and the industry to stay relevant
- Participate in end-to-end design processes involving researchers, designers, product, business, and engineering teams. You will also get to engage with marketing and sales to ensure the content is cohesive
- Own your assigned scope and organize assigned tasks; which includes communicating updates and progress via the provided forums and channels
- Utilize design reviews to gather feedback to improve the quality of your deliverables and provide critique where needed
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders
What You Will Need
- A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of copywriting or product writing experience for digital products or services
- Creative storytelling flair with a user-focused mindset and a drive to write engaging and effective content
- A structured portfolio of written work that shows your ability and problem-solving skills, a bonus if it demonstrates business impact and results
- Excellent written and verbal communication, proofreading, and editing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Ability to collaborate and set expectations effectively with stakeholders, act as a strategic partner in product strategy, and be an advocate for our users
- Comprehensive and punctual communication with excellent documentation discipline
- Develop original ideas, and demonstrate a detail-oriented thought process
- Open to participate in user research to improve the quality of work
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work across multiple projects simultaneously
About the Team
This vital team within GoTo Financial is dedicated to serving businesses of various scales and enabling their productivity with technology and a high caliber of service. The team comprises passionate, welcoming, vibrant, and talented people from Indonesia and around the world. When they are not working, they spend time hanging out together, sharing their interests, and regularly meeting outside of work for games and meals. You will be tightly integrated into GTF Merchant Services: Design, UX Writing, and Research team of 9 practitioners; who are there to drive merchant centricity and empathy towards our users. You will work alongside 2 other writers; a senior writer and Design Manager will provide oversight.
