The role
We’re adding a Product Manager to our team to help us build and scale our PayBoost product. With over $500 bn in annual tax refunds there is an incredible opportunity to unlock liquidity for hundreds of millions of Americans.
As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for PayBoost end to end. This includes a number of challenges related to converting a complex tax optimization into an easy to understand and delightful product experience that scales to millions of customers. You'll work closely with engineering, design and business leaders to help people optimize their taxes with 0 effort.

What you'll be doing
- Lead product strategy, go-to-market to implementation for key consumer-facing features.
- Identify core problems via first principles, generate and test creative solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with a team of designers, engineers to identify and implement new product experiences and improvements.
- Use your analytical abilities and rigorous thinking to prioritize potential features and tenaciously drive those projects forward.
- Determine the metrics that define success for your products and implement tracking systems/processes for these metrics.
- Conduct customer research to deeply understand our customers and their financial problems/goals to inform future product development.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have 3+ years of experience in product at a high-growth tech startup, as a startup founder or as a IB or consulting analyst.
- You’re an extraordinarily fast learner. You have the natural curiosity and intellectual horsepower to deeply understand new topics and pick up new skills in a very short time.
- You are relentlessly resourceful. When something needs to get done, you always find a way to make it happen. Even when the work is hard, you power through it and execute with limited information and ambiguity.
- You are a creative and analytical problem-solver. You excel at identifying problems within large data sets via SQL and identify unintuitive and simple solutions that delight customers.
- You are passionate. You are optimistic with a positive energy that other people draw upon.
- You care deeply about developing products and solutions that will create the best experience for our customers.
