As the Director of Content at Gurobi Optimization, you will collaborate with internal experts and external partners to create new written content and enhance existing materials. This role holds significant importance for our business for two primary reasons:

1.   Crafting and disseminating top-tier written content enables Gurobi to remain the definitive thought leader in mathematical optimization.
2.   Up-to-date and captivating written content is vital to our marketing automation system. With it, Gurobi’s ability to engage with prospects effectively in the sales funnel will be protected, potentially leading to decreased conversion rates.

What will you be doing?

    • Develop, curate, and oversee all written content across diverse marketing channels.
    • Create content for in-person training programs, mathematical programming modeling examples, user case studies, white papers, eBooks, website content, digital marketing materials, and infographics.
    • Demonstrate a consistent ability to generate a substantial volume and variety of high-quality content.
    • Preferably, possess experience in the analytics/AI software domain or a background in creating technology-related content.
    • Proficient in simplifying complex technical concepts for a non-technical or business audience.
    • Effectively communicate the business value of optimization and the Gurobi Optimizer through written content.

What experience and qualifications should you have?

    • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role, preferably in a relevant industry or field.
    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in personally leading technical content development initiatives.

What skills and abilities should you have?

    • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, organize, write, and edit compelling technical content.
    • Effective cross-functional collaboration with technical experts.
    • Clear and concise communication of complex information to various audiences.
    • Maintaining style consistency across related documents.
    • Managing content development and refresh schedules.
    • Proficiency in using relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

    • Self-motivated: Initiates engagement with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders within Gurobi, partner organizations, and customer organizations to gather input for content.
    • Process-oriented: Manages end-to-end content creation and coordinates multiple projects from concept to completion. Constantly seeks to enhance existing processes and practices.
    • Driven and versatile: Consistently produces plans, manages content calendars, and works toward achieving content marketing objectives.
    • Collaborative: Collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align content efforts with marketing and corporate goals.
