About the role:
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Infrastructure & Release Engineering Team, you will be working closely with the product engineering team to design and build systems that enable the engineering team to make safe and rapid releases into production.
You will have the opportunity to solve complex infrastructure problems, such as building deployment pipelines for services that interact with the blockchain, as well as building observability into systems that sit across on-chain / off-chain technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the engineering team to determine what is the best way for us to get things into production and keep it healthy.
- You will own our CI/CD Pipeline, this means you will be guiding the engineering on our release process.
- You will be the owner of the IT infrastructure at HQ, this means you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high levels of availability, recoverability and security.
- Designing and building observability into our cloud infrastructure
Job-Related Skills or Experience:
- Setting up and managing cloud infrastructure for production on AWS
- Working with Web3 Infrastructure such as Alchemy/Infura
- Working on Linux based infrastructure
- Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Postgres
- Excellent infrastructure troubleshooting skills
- Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles & metrics
- Familiarity with software release management and deployment (Git, CI/CD)
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Able to make data-driven decisions on technical architecture and project prioritisation
- Experience in working with Hashicorp's Vault (Bonus)
- Relevant or similar industry experience and start-up (Bonus)
- Relevant AWS Certifications is a big plus (Bonus)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-7 years experience in setting up cloud infrastructure to support production applications
