Intern
As an intern, you will get to work closely with a mentor and learn from experienced software developers. You’ll be involved in all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle: participate in idea generation, physician feedback, planning, design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and iteration.
The code you write will directly impact physician workflows, helping them spend less time on note-taking in the EHR, and dramatically improve hospital finances and patient care. You'll also get to collaborate with other interns and experience the fun and inclusive culture here at Regard!

We are primarily looking for juniors and seniors, but are open to all qualified candidates.

In a typical week you may:

    • Develop high impact features for physicians and iterate directly with their feedback.
    • Support or own core technical infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability
    • Collaborate with other developers and the product team to build features for clinical use
    • Participate in agile planning, code reviews, and release testing
    • Ramp up on new tools, share learnings with teammates, and learn from them
    • Improve your understanding of programming languages and frameworks
    • Enjoy social lunches and events with your co-workers!

Qualifications:

    • BS in progress in Computer Science.
    • 3+ years in university taking CS courses.
    • Excited about working with a fast-paced, small team in a dynamic startup environment.
    • Willing to work with Javascript and/or Python.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Passionate about learning, improving, and helping your team do the same.
    • Willing to respectfully debate ideas, take pragmatic approaches, and work hard to accomplish goals with your team.
    • Passion for healthcare and its improvement.
