Holy Grail developed a direct air carbon capture technology that removes CO2 from the atmosphere and permanently stores it in pyramids. We are looking for proactive candidates ready to take ownership and are passionate about creating a sustainable solution to removing excess CO2 from the atmosphere.

To support our growth, we’re seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and help optimize our carbon capture plant operations. As a machine learning engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing algorithms that can analyze data from our plant operations and make recommendations for optimization. You will work closely with our operations team to understand their needs and develop solutions that can improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

This role will be located full-time in Mountain View, CA.

Requirements:
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of their own projects
• Strong background in machine learning, including experience with algorithms such as regression, clustering and neural networks
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Python, R, or MATLAB
• Familiarity with databases and SQL
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other team members
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities:
• Work with the plant operations team to identify areas for optimization
• Design and implement machine learning algorithms to analyze plant data
• Develop data pipelines and ETL processes to prepare data for analysis
• Test and validate machine learning models to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Collaborate with other team members to integrate machine learning solutions into the plant operations workflow

Nice to have:
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
• Knowledge of control systems and process automation
• Experience with deep learning and computer vision
