We are multi-faceted creatives dedicated to helping organizations build memorable, human-centric digital experiences. We are seeking a senior-level product designer on a freelance basis.
Who You Are
Our ideal candidate will bring a senior-level background in UX/UI product design with a passion for providing user-centered functional design solutions across digital and mobile experiences. You’ll be working within our product delivery department working directly with clients on projects that span various industries in the technology space from IoT to e-commerce. You’ll use your background in visual design and UX/UI best practices to create engaging experiences that empower end users while helping to lead a team of designers through concept and delivery to engineering.
What You’ll be Doing
- Identify and solve user and business problems through creative, design-led solutions
- Partner with internal cross functional partners and client stakeholders to execute design strategy, ideation, and implementation
- Design intuitive and elegant user flows, high-fidelity designs, interactions and experiences transforming creative concepts into tangible experiences satisfying both business goals and user needs
- Taking a holistic view of problems to understand all the facets of creating an excellent experience while tracking shared patterns and behaviors across a systemTranslate business requirements into designs and wireframes
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to iterate and ship concepts, when requiredHelp lead team of designers through design meetings, managing client expectations, and estimating project work for self and design members working with project management
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in cross-platform product design with experience as a freelance consultant
- Be able to synthesize requirements from clients, stakeholders, users into a UX / product strategy
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneouslyComfortable leading design sessions with clients, founders, and stakeholders with understanding of client budget, limitations, and needs
- A portfolio of work demonstrating depth of knowledge in user experience, interaction design, and documentationExperience working creatively around constraints and navigating ambiguous situations
- Experience designing low- and high-fidelity prototypes to explore and convey workflows and solutions
- A strong understanding of standard design patterns, processes, and frameworks
- The tools we use include Figma, Adobe XD, Slack, Confluence, and the Google Suite
