THE WORK:

    • You'll oversee review and approval of technical documents and manage resolution of design comments.
    • You'll serve as technical liaison between Developers/Design-Builders and TDIP Subject Matter Experts.
    • You'll define, review, and approve design requirements in coordination with the TBIT (Tom Bradley International Terminal) Terminal Refresh Project Manager.
    • You'll provide guidance when design requirements are unclear or inconsistent in project documents.
    • You'll review changes to scope and ensure alignment with project goals and standards.
    • You'll establish and standardize submittal procedures to ensure consistent review processes.
    • You'll audit team comments and designer responses for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
    • You'll monitor compliance with architectural and engineering guidelines for design quality and consistency.
    • You'll track permitting requirements and ensure timely coordination with the design team.
    • You'll support on-time, on-budget design reviews and maintain a detailed project scope tracker.
    • You'll monitor BIM implementation in coordination with LAWA’s Central Building Information Management (cBIM), ensuring alignment with LAWA standards.
    • You'll provide cross-project technical coordination and support for adjacent LAWA project interfaces.
    • You'll prepare and review materials for key meetings including Board, Steering Committee, and stakeholder presentations.
    • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, and/or related field required
    • 15 years or more experience in managing the design of large, complex building projects, utilities and infrastructure improvements, preferably on airport projects
    • Design management of complex aviation improvements experience required
    • Experience managing a team of design professionals
    • Experience with projects more than $100 million in value.
    • Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build
    • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
    • Must have a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities
    • Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds
    • Must be detail oriented and highly organized

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

    • Professionally licensed Architect and/or Engineer strongly preferred
$160,727 - $176,800 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
