THE WORK:
- You'll review submitted items for compliance with client requirements and work closely with the team to complete review and recommend client action using established protocols and templates.
- You'll review PA/PSI against benchmarks for formatting, completeness, calculation formula correctness and accuracy, cost compliance, terms and conditions, allowable costs, overhead and profit mark-ups.
- You'll review supplemental invoice reporting – for example, certified payroll, Federal programs compliance like Davis Bacon Act or Build America Buy America.
- You'll review and analyze cost and substantiating back-up.
- You'll review that approved billing rates are used.
- You'll verify that supporting documentation is provided and complete.
- You'll review that fees and reimbursable expenses are properly separated.
- You'll verify that reimbursable expenses are properly supported and itemized.
- You'll maintain work papers (electronic and paper) to document the information received from the client, information reviewed, analysis completed, recommendations, and documents returned to the client.
- You'll develop a strong working relationship with the client to facilitate communication and resolution of issues identified during the reviews.
- You'll performs financial analysis work, which may include budgeting, accounting, and financing skillsets.
- You'll assist with developing funding scenarios for program and project level costs that may include various funding sources. This work may also include interpretation of cash-flow impacts on recommended scenarios.
- You'll set up capital program budgets by project, track expenditures as they occur through to close-out. These activities will include financial oversight of major capital projects implementation, reporting, compliance, funding verification, and budget release activities.
- You'll track and monitors grant requirements and communicates potential impacts.
- You'll assists in implementing grantor requirements for carrying out projects and providing the necessary accountability and transparency.
- You'll assist in oversight of project budget development, usage, and requirements of any associated grant funding components.
- You'll analyze, reconcile, and balance the budgets of various programs and projects and assists in maintaining electronic registers of transactions.
- You'll assist in the preparation and completion of special financial reports as needed.
- You'll review submitted items for compliance with funding requirements, assist in creation of the funding eligibilities using established protocols and templates in place for these activities.
- You'll review include but are not limited to:
- You'll review proposals to ensure that client’s standard forms or equivalent are used and correctly completed. -Verify that supporting documentation is accurate and consistent for funding recommendation being made.
- You'll review construction change orders including the scope of work, cost compliance, terms and conditions, allowable costs, plans and specifications, and any other source documents to support funding recommendation.
- You'll have strong attention to detail to complete thorough reviews and maintain tracking logs of all data.
- You'll be able to work independently in a challenging environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Additional responsibilities may also be assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 5 years previous professional experience.
- Understanding of construction contract delivery methods – eg, DBB, CMAR, PDB.
- Familiarity with construction terminology.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Prior experience working on capital projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience and comfort with Excel (pivot tables and advanced formulas) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the client’s organization (executive, middle management, and administrative).
- Attention to detail.
- Comfort with working independently on assigned tasks as part of a larger team.
- Comfort performing tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Strong commitment to open communication and accountability.
$90,000 - $140,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
