As a Residential Staging Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design and home staging. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the residential real estate industry and the art of creating visually appealing, market-ready homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Staging Projects:
- Work closely with the staging team to prepare and execute staging projects for residential properties.
- Assist in the selection and arrangement of furniture, accessories, and décor items to enhance the aesthetic appeal of homes.
- Collaborate with team to make sure the project is ready for a final walk-through - curtain steaming, light cleaning, etc
- Design Research:
- Conduct research on current interior design and home staging trends.
- Provide input and ideas for creative staging concepts that align with target demographics.
- Client Interaction:
- Collaborate with the staging team to understand client requirements and preferences.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed.
- Logistical Support:
- Provide logistical support during staging installations and de-staging processes.
- Assist with transportation, set-up, and breakdown of staging elements.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Home Staging, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
$20 - $20 an hour
